The Cadillac Escalade and 2022 Cadillac Escalade ESV both feature three rows of seating. However, the ESV trim has a longer wheelbase, offering more legroom and cargo capacity (the latter tops out at 142.8 cubic feet).

A 6.2-liter V8 engine is standard on both, driving the rear wheels; four-wheel drive and an I6 turbodiesel engine are optional. Both powertrains are rounded out by a ten-speed automatic transmission. When equipped with rear-wheel drive and a tow package, the standard-wheelbase model can tow up to 8,200 pounds, with a similarly-equipped version of the ESV returning 8,100 pounds of towing.
